AP Electric carries a wide stock of Generac parts from air filters to voltage regulators and everything in between. No matter which Generac generator parts you need, as long as they are still available, we can get them for you. You'll want to make sure that when you give us a call you have the model and serial number off of the generator itself and not off of the engine. Also, Briggs & Stratton now owns all XL and EXL portable generators. Unfortunately that means you will have to contact them directly as we no longer have access to those parts. Just to try to save you some time with a little bit of helpful information. We get a lot of calls about those parts and we would help you if we could, but those generators are no longer owned by Generac.

Thankfully, the serial number and model name on Generac generators are located in the same spot, so you will want to reference the model and serial number guide above to find your serial number. The serial number will never be separate from the model name, so you will not need to worry about tracking them down individually or any of the hassles that come from other brands having such a practice. How Long Can You Run a Generac 6500 Generator? The 6500 is an excellent generator by design and can operate at 50% of its overall load capacity for about 10.5 hours.
